I learned to quilt from my mom Donna, who was a passionate and prolific quilter. She helped me make my first quilt when I was 14 years old. My goal was to use a different fabric for each square, but we ended up having to repeat a few. I’ve come a long way since that first quilt 25 years ago, but I still use this quilt today! The seams don’t need to match, and the quilting doesn’t need to be perfect to have a quilt you can use and love.
